Project for Public Spaces and Southbank Partners will collaborate with the community to transform Saratoga Plaza into a vibrant “Destination Station.” The project will introduce new amenities and programming designed to better connect the space to surrounding streets and transportation networks.
These improvements will enhance safety, support community gathering, and help energize the city of Newport.
Thanks to support from General Motors, Newport on the Levee was selected as one of three organizations to receive $100,000 in direct funding, along with planning, implementation, and capacity-building assistance from Project for Public Spaces. Through this partnership, communities are working to transform public spaces into inclusive, vibrant places that welcome underserved community members, strengthen social connections, and improve quality of life for all.
We’d love your feedback! Please take a moment to participate in our Saratoga Plaza user survey. Your input helps us improve your experience and better serve our community. Click here to answer a few short questions. Thank you!
