NOTL Introduces Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Newport, KY – April 7, 2015 – Newport on the Levee (NOTL) is proud to announce the unveiling of new electric vehicle charging stations in the property’s parking garage.

The electric vehicle charging stations are designated by green signs reading “Electric Vehicle Parking Station” and are located on the P1 level of the garage. The signs were generously donated by Ray Cardona of Green Umbrella, which is a local non-profit dedicated to environmental sustainability.

There is no fee to use the stations.

NOTL’s introduction of electric vehicle charging signage is yet another step towards making the property a “greener” place to visit.

In 2011, NOTL installed energy-efficient light bulbs in the main parking garage and the following year, NOTL installed new high efficiency fixtures in the Gallery Building; the replacement of the light bulbs in both areas helped reduce electrical demand. Then in 2013, the Levee introduced a single-stream recycling program to its tenants.
