Design LAB: Learn + Build is dedicated to fostering appreciation, awareness, and enhancement of the built environment through hands-on education. By partnering local design professionals with educators, students are guided through the process of developing real-world design solutions.
This year’s theme is Sanctuary. Whether for people, animals, or even imagined beings, a sanctuary can be a place to unplug, heal, recharge, or feel protected. Student teams will work closely to understand what kind of refuge is needed, then design and build spaces that offer comfort, safety, and meaning.

May 11th – 16th | Exhibit Week
One project from each classroom will be displayed at the annual exhibit onsite at The Levee. This exhibit is complimentary and open to the public.
May 13th at 4PM | Dine with Design
Tickets Available for Purchase
The awards ceremony will celebrate exceptional Design LAB members. Guests are invited to tour dining destinations. Tickets proceeds will support the educational programming offered by Design LAB: Learn + Build.
